Making your loan payments on time is an important factor in preventing unexpected – and unwanted – costs.

The interest on your loan is assessed daily, so it’s important to make all your payments on time. When you make a late payment, you not only pay more in interest, but you may also have to pay late fees.

Late payments happen more easily than you’d think. For example, lost mail or bank holidays can cause your payment to post late. And forgetting to make a payment can happen to anyone. myHDFS.com allows you to manage your account online. You can:

If your HDFS Billpay payment is successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation number. It is important to keep this confirmation number for your records until you verify that your payment has been correctly debited from the account from which the payment was made.

How do I make a single payment?

  1. Go to the Account Activity page, and select the appropriate account from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click the “Make Payment” button.
  3. Enter the Harley-Davidson® Financial Services account number and last four digits of the primary account holder’s social security number.
  4. Agree to the Service terms by clicking “Continue.”
  5. Enter the payment amount you want to make and the date you would like it to withdraw.
  6. From the drop-down menu, select one of the following: Use a stored account, Electronic check, ATM Debit Card or Check Card.

    Note: If you select Electronic Check, enter a nickname for the bank account (i.e. the name of your bank).

  7. Enter the bank routing and account number information for the bank account you want to make the payment from.

    Note: It is very important that you accurately select Checking or Savings account.

  8. Complete the payment information, and click “Continue.” The next screen will confirm the payment information.
  9. Once you have reviewed the information, click “Confirm.” The confirmation number will appear; please keep for your records.

How do I set up recurring payments?

Please note: You must have your Checking/Savings Account routing and bank account numbers to use this feature.

  1. Go to the Account Activity page, and select the appropriate account from the drop-down menu
  2. Click the “Make Payment” button.
  3. Enter the Harley-Davidson® Financial Services account number and last four digits of the primary account holder’s social security number.
  4. Agree to the Service terms by clicking “Continue.”
  5. Click on the Schedule Recurring Payment link and Add a Recurring Payment Link.
  6. Select Electronic Check from the drop down menu.
  7. Enter a nickname for the bank account (i.e. the name of your bank).
  8. Enter the bank routing and account number information for the account you want to make the payment from.

    Note: It is very important that you accurately select Checking or Savings account.

  9. Click Submit to save the banking info.
  10. Select the bank account with the last four digits you entered from the drop down menu.
  11. Enter the payment amount, the date you would like the recurring payment to start, choose your end date selection, and payment frequency.

    Note: Please keep in mind your full payment must be received by the due date if you are selecting anything other than monthly.

  12. Click “Continue.”
  13. At the Confirmation screen, review all information for accuracy, and click “Confirm” to submit payment or “Cancel” to change, edit, or cancel the transaction.
  14. The confirmation number will appear; please keep for your records.

How do I stop my recurring payment?

  1. Go to the Account Activity page, and select the appropriate account from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click on the “Make a Retail Payment” tab on the left side of the screen.
  6. Select the recurring payment tab from the top row.
  7. Select the recurring payment you have set up and click “Stop Payment.” The next screen will confirm the change you want to make.
  8. Once you have reviewed the information, click “Confirm.” The confirmation number will appear; please keep for your records.
